He spent several years in private practice in Great Neck and nine years with the Head & Neck Surgical Group on the Upper West Side, where he was partner, before joining the Mount Sinai staff as Assistant Professor.
Dr. Tsai is board certified in both otolaryngology and sleep medicine and treats both adults and children. He focuses his clinical practice on the treatment of head and neck disorders, and related surgical procedures, involving the nose and sinuses; voice and swallowing disorders; diseases of the ear and hearing loss, parathyroid and thyroid tumors; salivary gland disorders; and sleep apnea and snoring. He is an expert in scuba diving medicine and its related disorders in the ears and sinuses.
He has lectured and instructed other physicians in the United States about otolaryngology and sleep medicine, speaking at the national SLEEP meeting, and was a course director of Sleep Disorders: Diagnosis and Management at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospitals.
