Dr. Sara was the recipient of the 2004 “Wholeness of Life” award for Mount Sinai St. Luke's Roosevelt. He has been cited yearly since 1997 in the Hematology/Oncology section of "Top Doctors: New York Metro Area" by Castle Connolly. He has been cited in the "Super Doctors” edition of the New York Times Magazine (April 2008, April 2009, April 2010, April 2011).
