About Me

Dr Urman completed the Six-Year Biomedical program at Rennselaer Polytechnic Institute and Albany Medical College, where he graduated Cum Laude with Alpha Omega Alpha honor society, in the top 5 in his class. He completed his Dermatology Residency at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt-Beth Israel Medical Centers of Columbia University and received his Board Certification in 2005. He then served as an Attending Dermatologist at Harvard Vanguard Medical Associated in Boston, MA. In 2006 he returned home to the New York area and has been in private practice as well as serving as Chief of Dermatology of St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Manhattan.

Dr. Urman is currently Assistant Clinical Professor of Dermatology at The Mount Sinai School of Medicine and is on staff at The Mount Sinai Hospital NY, NY, Beth Israel Hospital NY, NY, St. Peter’s Hospital New Brunswick, NJ and University Medical Center at Princeton NJ. He has presented at major national and international conferences and has published extensively in the Dermatologic Literature.
