Biography
- Dr. Erin DuPree is Vice Chair for Quality at the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences; Program Director for the Obstetrics Initiative in the Office for Excellence in Patient Care and Physician Informaticist in the IT Department. She joined the Department after completing her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Mount Sinai.
Dr. DuPree has expertise in a wide array of therapies for women. She is skilled in the treatment of fibroids, abnormal uterine bleeding and menopause, including hormone replacement. She also offers services for the reproductive age woman, including family planning and obstetric care.
Improving the quality of care for all patients is her main academic interest. She serves on many hospital committees and task forces directed at improving patient safety as well as patient satisfaction. She is currently also involved in the Mount Sinai FPA Electronic Medical Record implementation.
