Doctor Bronn received his MD degree and PhD degree in Cell Physiology & Biophysics from The Ohio State University College of Medicine under the guidance of legendary surgeons Robert M. Zollinger and John Peter Minton. He completed his residency training and served as Chief Resident in Radiation Oncology at the Ohio State University Hospitals in Columbus, Ohio. Doctor Bronn is certified by the American Board of Radiology in Radiation Oncology and he is a Fellow of the American College of Radiation Oncology. He has served as Assistant Professor of Radiation Oncology at Wayne State University and the Medical College of Ohio where he also served as Acting Chairman. He became Clinical Associate Professor of Radiation Oncology at Wayne State University and Chief of Radiation Oncology at Detroit Medical Center Grace Hospital, one of seven facilities that he designed, financed and constructed. Doctor Bronn was the Founding Chairman and Medical Director of the Michigan Institute for Radiation Oncology and the MIRO Cancer Centers, the largest private network of radiation treatment facilities in the State of Michigan. He has been responsible for the treatment of over 25,000 cancer patients.
Doctor Bronn is the author of more than 70 publications in the field of cancer diagnosis, biology and treatment and helped pioneer concepts in combined modality cancer treatment. He served as Program Chairman for the National Symposium on Combined Modalities of Cancer Treatment. He is also the recipient of numerous grants and awards including the Mead-Johnson Excellence of Research Award-First Prize, the Robert M. Zollinger Research Prize and the American Cancer Society Clinical Oncology Career Development Award. Doctor Bronn is also an inventor and holder of United States Patents for radiation therapy equipment.
Doctor Bronn also established the Early Warning Healthcare Demonstration Project with 7,000 patients and collaborated with Oakland University to promote wellness programs that emphasize pre-symptom cancer diagnosis leading to less risky and less costly non-invasive treatments. This included the development of virtual colonoscopy technology. As a result of this work, Doctor Bronn served as Program Chairman for the National Congress on Pre-Symptom Medicine. Also, he served on the Board of Visitors of the Oakland University School of HealthSciences and Clinical Professor of Health Sciences at Oakland University.
Doctor Bronn is the inventor of the MEDMatrix System for Integrated Critical Decision Support and Managing Director of the venture capital enterprise National Consolidated Technologies, LLC. He has served as Medical Director at BioImagene Inc, a healthcare IT company in digital pathology. Doctor Bronn is also the Founding Chairman and Medical Director for the American Institute of Digital Medicine. He is a member of the Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City and its clinical affiliate Integrated Medical Professionals, PLLC, the largest private interdisciplinary group in the United States for the treatment of Prostate Cancer. He serves on the Medical Staff of the Advanced Radiation Centers of New York where he is active in championing highly advanced oncology services to underprivileged populations in New York City whose access to state of the art cancer care is usually limited.
