Dimitrios Asters, MD, received his medical degree from New York Medical College. He completed both a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in rheumatology at St. Vincent’s Hospital and Medical Center in New York City.
For more than 12 years, Dr. Asters has been caring for patients in the Queens community. His clinical interests include treating arthritis and other diseases of the joints, tendonitis, bursitis, autoimmune diseases, and osteoporosis. He is committed to educating residents of Queens and he has given talks on arthritis, gout and osteoarthritis at local churches and community centers.
