Daniel Caplivski, MD, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine (Infectious Diseases) and the Director of the Mount Sinai School of Medicine Travel Medicine Program. To find out more about this program, click here.

Dr. Caplivski helps prepare adults for travel to tropical countries where infectious diseases such as yellow fever and malaria may be more prevalent.  Dr. Caplivski is a graduate of the Gorgas Course in Clinical Tropical Medicine in Peru and has specialized training in evaluating and treating patients who have acquired illnesses while abroad.
