After completing her post-doc at the Yale Child Study Center, Dr Sicher joined the faculty.  She was the clinical coordinator of the Yale Child Study Center Trauma Clinic and liaison to the New Haven Department of Police Services as part of a collaborative response program for children and families who were victims and witnesses of violence.  In April 2009, Dr. Sicher moved to NYC to work at Mount Sinai.  Through a grant from The Robin Hood Foundation, she expanded the Mt Sinai World Trade Center Rescue and Recovery Worker Mental Health Program to serve the workers' children and families.  In addition, Dr. Sicher has been consulting with the Corporation for Supportive Housing supervising and training case managers who work with the Young Adult population as well as providing direct clinical services to several Young Adult Tenants.


Dr. Sicher is the clinical consultant to the Lower East Side Girls Club-a community-based organization that serves approximately 300 girls ages 8-23 from the Lower East Side of Manhattan both in schools and after-fostering creativity, ingenuity and leadership.  She is an active teacher, mentor and clinical supervisor at Mt. Sinai School of Medicine. 


Dr. Sicher is also a member of the faculty practice.
