With more than 16 years' experience, Dr. B. Brian Paimany joined Long Island Heart Associates in 2003. As an accomplished physician, Dr. Paimany specializes in arrhythmias, atrial fibrillation, coronary artery disease, and Ultrafast Calcium Score CT. Dr. Paimany has played a significant role in conducting research with the New York Heart Research Foundation regarding these areas. As an integral team member of Long Island Heart Associates, Dr. Paimany works with his peers to achieve the common goal of wellness and prevention for all patients. Dr. Paimany is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease and Nuclear Cardiology. He is a distinguished Fellow of American College of Cardiology (F.A.C.C) and a distinguished Fellow of American Society of Nuclear Cardiology (F.A.S.N.C.). Additionally, Dr. Paimany is a member of the American Medical Association, the Medical Society of NY, and the American College of Physicians.
Dr. B. Brian Paimany received his training at SUNY Health Sciences Center in Brooklyn and completed his residency at Long Island Jewish Hospital. His additional post-graduate training includes a Cardiology fellowship was completed at the SUNY Health Sciences Center at Stony Brook. Throughout his fellowship, Dr. Brian Paimany participated in clinical trials in the area of heart failure, which remains one of his chief areas of expertise.
Dr. B. Brian Paimany has published articles in professional journals on specific topics including ventricular tachycardia, (cardiac arrhythmias) cardiac c-reactive protein, and three- dimensional echocardiography.
Dr. Paimany is not only a distinguished cardiologist but a wonderful husband and father of three beautiful children.
