Overview

The Vestibular Rehabilitation/Balance Disorders Program is a unique service that provides a comprehensive treatment approach for clients with balance disorders and /or vestibular dysfunction. Clients with dizziness or balance deficits that result from inner ear dysfunction or central nervous system pathology, including post-traumatic vertigo are appropriate for this program. Services include:

  • A comprehensive evaluation to determine the best course of treatment pertaining to the patient's diagnosis.
  • Access to specially-trained physical therapists that utilize manual techniques and exercise to help clients improve balance function, reduce symptoms of dizziness, improve coordination, and increase overall activity levels.
  • Open and regular communication with your referring physician.
  • Access to state-of-the art rehabilitative equipment to assist with your recovery.
  • Setting functional goals made by the patient and his/her therapist to better achieve the long-term desired results.
