The Mount Sinai Eating and Weight Disorders Program is an affiliate of the New York State Comprehensive Care Centers for Eating Disorders and a founding program in the Mount Sinai Women’s Initiative in Psychiatry. We base each of our treatment interventions on cutting-edge, evidence-based research. This evidence demonstrates which approaches are the most effective, the most rapid, and the most likely to protect against relapse. Mount Sinai experts create customized treatment plans for eating disorders that focus on the needs of the patient and family and that ensure our clients receive the best care available.
Our mission statement is to bring these gold-standard treatments out of the purely academic realm and offer them to in a way that meets the individual needs of our patients.
We offer in-depth externship and internship training opportunities.
