Dr. Joshua Bederson, Professor and System Chair at Mount Sinai Health System, removed a large solid calcified and partially cystic tumor from Daniel Leng's brain. Meet Dr. Bederson and Daniel. The way Dr. Bederson approached this case did not exist until recently. He used standard imaging as well as the 3D reconstruction. It allowed him to see into the brain in real time while he was operating and see the progress as he was going through the critical brain structures.
