Medscape Today - “Dietary Guidelines Aim to Reduce Alzheimer's Risk”

 – July 25, 2013 /Press Release/  ––

New dietary guidelines for the prevention of Alzheimer's disease were released last week by the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine (PCRM) at the International Conference on Nutrition and the Brain held in Washington, DC, sponsored jointly by PCRM and George Washington University School of Medicine. "The diet recommendations make good sense but must be subjected to one or more randomized clinical trials before one can say that they truly modify the risk for Alzheimer's,” said Samuel Gandy, MD, of The Mount Sinai Center for Cognitive Health.
