Pulmonary Rehabilitation

Comprehensive occupational, physical, and cardiopulmonary rehabilitation programs exist on an inpatient and outpatient basis for patients with disabling lung disorders. There is pre- and post-operative consultation and therapy for patients undergoing all forms of lung surgery. Evaluation with cardiopulmonary exercise testing to monitor progress is available.

A new program in physiotherapy for patients with fibrosing lung disease promises to ease the breathlessness of patients with sarcoidosis and pulmonary fibrosis.
