Diabetes Self-Management Classes
The Mount Sinai Diabetes Center offers free educational classes that teach patients to prevent complications, control their diabetes and thrive. Our classes are taught by our dedicated multicultural and multilingual nurses, nurse practitioners and dietitian, all of whom are certified diabetes educators. The YMCA Diabetes Prevention Program (YDPP) is taking aim at reducing the risk for type 2 diabetes through education and motivation.
