Pediatric Liver Disease and Liver Transplantation Program

The Pediatric Liver Transplant Program, part of the Recanati/Miller Transplantation Institute (RMTI) at Mount Sinai Health System in New York, provides world-class treatment for children with liver disease and those who require liver transplantation. We are one of the largest and most successful pediatric liver transplant centers in the United States. Our achievements include performing the first pediatric living-related liver transplant and the first pediatric liver/intestinal transplant in New York State.

We have a team of pediatric hepatologists and hepatology fellows dedicated exclusively to the care of children with liver disease. Our team includes five clinical transplant coordinators and four rotating fellows, who are immediately available for families on a 24-hour basis.

Families who travel a great distance can stay at our Transplant Living Center, and children admitted to our facility can relax and unwind in The Zone.
