Our medical oncologists, specializing in breast cancer, represent a group of highly dedicated and trained physicians devoted to the care and treatment of breast cancer. From initial diagnosis to post-treatment care, medical oncologists at the Mount Sinai Medical Center see breast cancer at all stages of the disease, offering consultations, second opinions, treatment, and follow-up.

Kerin Adelson, MD
Dr. Adelson is a medical oncologist specializing in breast cancer medicine. Her clinical practice is dedicated to treating all aspects of breast cancer including: breast cancer prevention in women at high risk for breast cancer, management of ductal carcinoma in situ, adjuvant (post-operative treatment) and neo-adjuvant (pre-operative) treatment of invasive breast cancer, and management of advanced stage disease.
James Holland, MD
Dr. Holland is a Professor of Hematology and Medical Oncology and Oncological Sciences at Mount Sinai School of Medcine. He is a medical oncologist who specializes in breast cancer.
George Raptis, MD, MBA
Dr. Raptis is the Co-Director of the Dubin Breast Center. He specializes in the research and treatment of breast diseases, treating patients with all stages of breast cancer and premalignant breast diseases. He also has an interest in patients at high risk for developing breast cancer.
