The skilled surgeons at Mount Sinai Queens perform a full range of open, endoscopic, percutaneous, laparoscopic, and robotic urologic surgeries. Our experienced team treats benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), also known as “enlarged prostate” using medical therapy, novel office-based procedures including the UroLift ® procedure, and a full array of operative interventions including Greenlight TM laser Photovaporization of the prostate. Mount Sinai Queens also treats low testosterone and erectile dysfunction. Our staff diagnoses and treats a variety of urological conditions that affect women, including medical and surgical management of overactive bladder. We offer comprehensive management of kidney stones with variety of treatment options for our patients.
With two fellowship-trained urologic oncologists on site, we offer state of the art management for prostate, kidney, bladder, ureteral, testicular, penile, and adrenal cancers. Our surgical team uses the latest in robotic surgical technology with the da Vinci XI® surgical system. We also work closely in a multi-disciplinary team with radiation oncology and medical oncology to provide complete perioperative multimodal or non-operative care when appropriate. For patients who qualify, based on select criteria and are interested, we also offer entry in a number of ongoing clinical trials that aim to provide novel, better solutions for patients with urologic cancers.
