Welcome
to New York City. With all of the places to explore and things to
experience,
New York can be an overwhelming place. It is the goal of Life Support,
a student-written guide, to make the city more manageable and easier
to navigate by providing suggestions
to stores, restaurants, museums, and services in the local community
and throughout New York City. We hope that Life Support will not only
help
familiarize you with the Mount Sinai and Upper East Side area,
but that it will also direct you to the hottest club in Chelsea, the
coziest theater in the Village, the swankiest lounge in midtown, the
cheapest brands-for-less
shop on the West Side, and the best Chinese food in Queens.
For the first time, Life Support is available on the Internet, complete with
links to relevant sites and easy navigation. We would like to thank
the Web Development Office for their help, and
the Class of 2006 for their contributions, reviews, and editing. We
would also like to thank the Class of 2005 for their inspiration and
past contributions.
Please remember that this is a guide written by Sinai students for
Sinai students. The reviews of each store, restaurant, museum, and
neighborhood
service reflect the opinions of the writer, and may not represent those
of the actual establishments.
