Open Clinical Trial

Future Revascularization Evaluation in Patients with Diabetes Mellitus: Optimal Management of Multivessel Disease (FREEDOM Trial).

A blockage in your coronary arteries, if not treated, may increase your risk of a heart attack. Your doctor believes that you may have one or more blockages in your coronary arteries. As standard of clinical care, you will have a diagnostic angiogram to take pictures of all of your coronary arteries. These pictures will determine if you have any blockages in the coronary arteries that may be decreasing the blood flow to your heart and whether or not you qualify to continue participation in the FREEDOM Trial. If you have already had a recent diagnostic angiogram you may not need another one to determine if you are eligible to participate in the trial.
