The Psychosis Research Program at the Icahn School of Medicine is dedicated to Schizophrenia and Affective Psychosis, primarily Bipolar Disorder. Our mission is "to promote discovery and accelerate translation of biomedical advances into novel prevention, detection and treatment strategies for psychosis". We are looking for a trainee to temporarily join our team.
The Psychosis Research Program complements efforts within the Division of Psychiatric Genetics to define the genetic architecture of the two most severe and heritable psychotic disorders, bipolar disorder and schizophrenia.
The Trainee will assist in the daily administrative activities of clinical research studies: maintaining and organizing study information, data entry, preparing grant applications and documents (for e.g., Institutional Review Board, Grants and Contracts Office), as well as filing and general administrative tasks.
1. Data entry.
2. Assists in preparing grant applications, IRB/GCO for submission and filings.
3. Maintains source documents and subject files in accordance with hospital procedures.
4. Prepares for monitoring visits.
5. Performs other related duties.
Bachelor's in Science or closely related field or equivalent experience
Previous experience in a research setting a plus
Intermediate MS Word (Word, Excel), Access, Outlook
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
