Postdoctoral - Parkinson Project
A postdoctoral position is available immediately in the Laboratory of Dr. Thomas Zwaka at the Black Family Stem Cell Institute of the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York.
We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic researcher with a Ph.D. degree in Neuroscience, Molecular Biology or Stem Cell Biology. Strong background and expertise in cell culture and animal models of neurodegenerative disorders are of considerable advantage. Furthermore, this position requires a candidate with good work ethics, analytical and organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and to collaborate well with lab members.
The selected candidate will work in projects aimed at identifying the molecular pathways involved in the development of Parkinson's disease using induced pluripotent stem cells and their differentiation into dopaminergic neurons as a model.
