The Pediatric Mood and Anxiety Disorders Program (P-MAP) under the direction of Vilma Gabbay, M.D., M.S., is a unique program in the greater New York metropolitan area dedicated exclusively to the study and treatment of adolescent mood and anxiety disorders. We are currently seeking a PhD or PsyD scholar for the position of Postdoctoral Fellow. She/he will chiefly assist in conducting clinical evaluations of patients participating in research studies investigating adolescent depression and anxiety disorders. Additionally, they will assist the PI in writing and reviewing new grant applications and manuscripts. This position takes direction from the PI: Vilma Gabbay. * Conduct diagnostic assessments
* Liaison with clinical centers for purposes of subject recruitment and interviewing.
* Present findings at national conferences and local seminars/meetings
* Supervise Research Assistants
Minimum requirements are a Ph.D or Psy.D in Clinical Psychology, or a related field; and prior research and/or clinical experience.
Prior clinical experience working with CBT approaches to Mood and Anxiety Disorders
Prior research experience
Microsoft Office - Advanced
Research theory training/experience (through previous research lab experience)
Excellent written and oral communication
Organized, resourceful, and detailed-oriented
Strong multi-tasking, project and time management, problem-solving and organizational skills
Familiarity with the NIH (or other sponsor) grant submission process to assist PI in submission of grants
