Our laboratory is seeking a part-time research assistant to work on studies that investigate neuropsychological impairments in HIV-infected and uninfected adults, using behavioral and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) techniques. The successful candidatewill assist with the day-to-day running of the lab;conductparticipant recruitment, screening, and neuropsychological assessments; and assist with MRI dataacquisition and analysis.
Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Conductparticipant recruitment, scheduling, and screening.
2. Conduct structured clinical interviews and neuropsychological test batteries with HIV-infected and uninfected adults. 3. Assist in the collection, analysis, and review of experimental data for publication and presentation. 4. Assistwith other related duties.
Bachelor's Degree in Psychology,Neuroscience, or a related discipline.
Excellent verbal and written English skills.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Research experience is preferable, and prior experience in conducting psychiatric interviews and neuropsychological testing of patients or research participants is desirable.
Candidates must be skilled at using Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Candidates with programming experience and/or experience with MRI analysis packages (FSL, SPM, Freesurfer, AFNI) will also be considered.
