About the Interboro RHIO, Inc.
The Interboro Regional Health Information Organization, Interboro RHIO, is a clinical data exchange (CDE), serving New York City, which facilitates the sharing of patient information between authorized health care providers at the point of care.

The Interboro RHIO currently has a position available for a Project Manager.
The Applications Project Manager will have overall responsibility for integrating new organizations into the clinical data exchange and managing the ongoing activities of the exchange. The Applications Project Manager must be able to work at a planning and strategic level, as well as at a detailed transaction level.

Position responsibilities include:
Direct and manage relationships with HIE technology vendors, including:
Monitoring performance,
Addressing technology issues
Establishing priorities
Coordinating implementation of new technology services

Coordinate and manage technology services with HIE participants, including:
Integrating participants into the HIE
Implementing new services and functionality
Identifying and defining new requirements

Provide general project management for technical projects, including:
Serving as the primary technical contact in interactions with participants, HIE vendor, and system vendors
System testing and ongoing monitoring
Coordinating and managing the Information Security program
Managing the ongoing activities of the clinical data exchange, including coordinating EMPI activities and assisting with audit activities as require

Job Qualifications:

Experience testing and implementing health care applications and interfaces
Strong technical, analytical, and trouble-shooting skills
Project management experience
Strong knowledge of HIPAA and privacy and security standards
Ability to work independently or as part of a team, and to learn diverse technologies quickly
Excellent follow-through skills, self-motivated and detail-oriented
Good verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects, issues, and priorities effectively and simultaneously, with attention to detail
Advanced degree or equivalent experience
Four (4) years prior experience in a health care IT role
