Program Coordinator, Global Health Executive Course

Job Summary

The Global Health Executive Course Program Coordinator will work directly with the Director of Global Health Training to design and implement the new Global Health Executive Course. Participants in this course will be non-health professionals from corporate, financial and philanthropic sectors who will be recruited to participate in a course including an in-class curricular component at Mount Sinai and a global health field experience at an international partner site. The Coordinator will be responsible for creation of promotional materials for the course, outreach to potential sources of participants, logistical assistance with travel arrangement for participants, management of budget and financial transactions, management of arrangements with partnering field organizations, and travel to field partner sites with the Director to prepare for and assist with participant experiences.


Work with Director to develop information and promotional materials, both web-based and paper, including working with IT team to create and maintain web presence, including online registration and information functions
Work with Director to identify and manage clients
Coordinate client meetings on an as needed basis, and participate in the planning and support of participant events, such as GH 101 course and Participant Orientation
Effectively communicate with participants and partners, organize correspondence and scheduled email communications with participants and partners
Assist Director in arranging logistics of travel arrangements including booking trips, accommodations, in-country transport, supplies, etc
Travel with Director as needed to investigate partner sites and ensure their preparation, including completion of Memoranda of Understanding and other required documentation
Accompany director on client trips to assist with management of local logistics and client needs
Work with Global Health Training Program Assistant business associate to manage budget, travel requests, and handle travel expenditure reimbursement for the program

Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to multi-task and complete work in required timelines
Commitment to customer service, ability to anticipate and respond to client needs effectively
Computer skills - Microsoft Office, WordPress, Photoshop
Languages: Spanish, Portuguese, Hindi, Marathi preferred
Flexible and experienced traveler
