Pediatric and Congenital Cardiology - Children’s Heart Center

The Mount Sinai Health System offers state-of-the-art diagnosis and comprehensive, family-centered treatment for babies, children, and young adults with heart problems. Our pediatric cardiologists have extensive experience in diagnosing and treating congenital heart disease and specialize in complex and high-risk cases in children. In addition, we have the only standalone Pediatric Cardiac Surgical Intensive Care Unit in New York State, and one of only two active pediatric heart transplant centers in the state of New York.

Our interdisciplinary pediatric team works closely with your referring doctor to evaluate your child's heart condition and overall health and develop a comprehensive treatment plan. Our medical team includes pediatric cardiologists, pediatric cardiothoracic surgeons, pediatric cardiac anesthesiologists, pediatric physician's assistants, advanced practice pediatric nurses, pediatric cardiac sonographers, social workers, and child life specialists.
