"Immunotherapy Also Beneficial To Early-Stage Lung Cancer Patients, According To Study"
Researchers from The Tisch Cancer Institute at Mount Sinai have determined immunotherapy can be equally beneficial to newly diagnosed lung cancer patients as those fighting later stages of the disease. "Immunotherapy has mostly been used in advanced or metastatic lung cancer, but its benefit in early-stage tumors remains unknown," Miriam Merad, MD, PhD, a professor of oncological sciences and of medicine at The Tisch Cancer Institute at Mount Sinai, said
