"Working Out For A Good Cause: The Third Annual Push Up For Prostate Cancer Challenge"
The third annual push up for prostate cancer challenge took place at the Mount Sinai Hospital this week. Men and women were asked to do 26 push-ups in recognition of the 26,000 men who died from prostate cancer last year. The goal is to encourage people to live a healthier lifestyle. Ash Tewari, MBBS, MCh, professor and system chair of urology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai said, “We pulled together a group of people who believe that exercise can help in the recovery of the prostate cancer.” This event is one of many that marks Prostate Cancer Awareness Month.
