"Nasal Staph Linked With Post-Op Infection"

Patients with diabetes, immunosuppression, and renal insufficiency are at increased risk of nasal colonization with Staphylococcus aureus and surgical site infection following joint replacement, a retrospective study showed. The authors urge preoperative screening.
