Cancer Drug May Help Alzheimer’s Patients
A promising study shows a skin cancer drug reversing signs of Alzheimer’s disease in mice, which gives scientists cautious hope just as the Obama administration seeks more money for research. “Most scientists working on Alzheimer’s disease are spending most of their time trying to raise money to do their experiments rather than doing the experiments themselves,” said Dr. Sam Gandy from Mount Sinai School of Medicine.
