"Could Mammograms Detect Clogged Arteries? Yes, Says New Research"

A woman's routine mammogram is a bulwark against breast cancer. But new research suggests that, with little extra cost or effort, a woman's mammogram could also tell whether she is being stalked by a far more dangerous killer—heart disease. Researchers from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai concluded that looking at the blood vessels in a women's mammogram for indications of heart disease risk is promising, and should be studied in a larger trial.
