"Researchers Test Light Therapy to Help Fatigue, Depression That Many Cancer Patients Feel"

According to a new study, cancer patients exposed to a bright white light had significant improvements in relieving symptoms of depression compared to a control group. One of the lead researchers, Heiddis Valdimarsdottir, PhD, an assistant professor of oncological sciences at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, reported preliminary results at the annual meeting of the American Psychosomatic Society in March.
