A team of 78 doctors, nurses and physician assistants from New York flew to Puerto Rico Thursday to provide much-needed medical care in the wake of Hurricane Maria.  The medical relief effort was coordinated by the governor of Puerto Rico, Gov. Andrew Cuomo and local health care organizations, unions and providers. Northwell Health, Mount Sinai Health System and Callen-Lorde Community Health Center are among the providers sending staff.
