Mount Sinai Hospital Compliance Program

The Hospital Compliance Program provides regulatory oversight and education to ensure legal and ethical standards of conduct. The program is designed to reduce the potential for fraud and abuse in hospital coding and billing programs. It also ensures multi-regulatory requirements are met that impact hospital and hospital-based licensed venues such as interactions with vendors, EMTALA and other regulatory mandates.

The Program meets these goals through:

• Auditing and Monitoring
• Plan development/Corrective Action

Hospital Compliance also serves as the Hospital Liaison for external reviews.
