Under the direction of Maria L. Padilla, M.D., the Pulmonary Fibrosis and Interstitial Lung Disease Program is studying new therapies for fibrosing lung disease. We were a participant in the interferon gamma trial for the treatment of usual interstitial penumonities (UIP) and are currently members of the Pirfenidone and other clinical trials.
