This is one of the first three centers in the country where the forces of cardiac failure treatment and cardiac arrhythmia treatment are unified at a clinical level and at a research level.  The cardiac failure section works collaboratively with surgery and transplantation.  This is where our strengths are… On the clinical side, as the elderly population grows rapidly, this is the area where we are placing our greatest resources.  In this context, we are now working together with Dr. Sean Pinney and Dr. Davendra Mehta.
