The Divisional faculty and staff work closely with the Department of Medicine Clinical Trials Office (Marie Teil, M.D., Director) to facilitate careful oversight of patient enrollment and safely, trial recruitment, data collection and communications with trial sponsors. The clinical research faculty meets weekly with a growing cadre of research coordinators and administrative staff to optimize the conduct of clinical research in patients with acute or chronic liver diseases.
