Research Projects

The Center has taken on the need to expand and organize access to biostatistical expertise in developing research proposals, conduct studies, and analyze and interpret the results. In the future, we anticipate increased involvement in research training to help faculty who wish to engage more extensively in epidemiologic and related clinical research.

Seminars

Seminars to bring in outside experts and highlight in-house experts are planned in collaboration with a number of research groups throughout the School, in addition to an ongoing seminar series in biostatistics.

Pilot grant research program: In order to foster efforts to conduct epidemiologic research among current faculty and enhance the probability of submitting competitive proposals, we have committed funds to a pilot research program that will be open to all faculty in the School who wish to pursue research in this area.
