Assessment
- Clinical Evaluation: The assessment consists of completion of self-report questionnaires followed by three interview sessions, the last of which is a review of feedback and recommendations. The interviews will review current difficulties, as well as prior and current academic, occupational, social, and emotional functioning.
- Neuropsychological Evaluation: Formal testing may be necessary to provide a full understanding of the difficulties.
Treatment
- Medication: Medication is often very useful in improving attention and impulse-control.
- Behavioral Therapy: Cognitive-Behavioral Treatment is helpful to enhance skills in time-management organization and planning. This treatment is offered individually and in a group program.
