The Mount Sinai Alzheimer's Disease Research Center (ADRC), a nationally renowned center of excellence since 1984, is a comprehensive research facility and clinical program dedicated to the study and treatment of both normal aging and Alzheimer's disease. The Center is supported by the National Institute on Aging, a branch of the National Institutes of Health.

Our team of experts in geriatrics, geriatric psychiatry and psychology, neurology, pathology, and radiology diagnoses and provides crucial services for those with memory disorders. Additionally, our clinicians and neuroscientists conduct research into the causes and treatment of dementia and sponsor educational programs for health care professionals and community groups. We make our clinical research programs available to those with Alzheimer's disease, as well as to healthy seniors. The aim of our clinical and lab research is not only to improve diagnosis, delay disease progression, and enhance well-being of those affected by Alzheimer's disease, but also to study the normal aging process.
