Urogynecology

Treatments

The first step in treating urogynecological problems is to see a physician for a comprehensive patient evaluation. Once your condition has been determined, your physician will present you with appropriate treatment options.

Utilizing state-of-the-art diagnostic techniques and equipment, we are able to provide a comprehensive evaluation of each patient's individual problem.

Nonsurgical treatments include individually-tailored physical therapy programs, which are administered by a physical therapist specially trained in pelvic floor and incontinence treatment. Therapy might involve:

  • Bladder Training
  • Pelvic Exercise
  • Biofeedback and Electrical Stimulation
  • Medication

Surgery is usually recommended after nonsurgical options have been exhausted. Our physicians are trained and highly experienced in a variety of surgical techniques that can address your urogynecological problem
