The Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Science provides screening, diagnosis and treatment of sexually transmitted infections (STIs). There are many services available, all of which are provided by a multidisciplinary team of specialists. Our program is one of only a handful of sites in the United States that actively participates in vaccine treatment trials aimed at preventing both cervical HPV (human papilloma virus) infections and cervical cancer and genital HSV (herpes simplex virus) infection.
