The Mount Sinai Department of Rehabilitation Medicine Neuropsychological/Psychology Services offers a variety of services for the individual who has sustained a neurological injury. Individuals with traumatic or acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury, cerebral vascular accident, or multiple sclerosis are evaluated and treated by our team of psychologists. Complete and limited neuropsychological assessment batteries, structured psychological clinical interviews, and/or neuropsychological/psychological differential diagnosis evaluations are frequently provided. Treatment options range from psychoeducation interventions for patients and families, to cognitive remediation, supportive psychotherapy to assist with adjustment to disability, or cognitive-behavioral treatment for emotional issues including depression, anxiety, and PTSD.
