Following cardiac surgery, organ transplantation, a joint replacement or a long hospitalization for various reasons you may become unable to move about or care for yourself. A short stay on a rehabilitation unit to restore energy, practice activities of daily living, mobility and community activities can mean the difference between discharge to home vs. discharge to a nursing home. In the medically complex program, emphasis is placed on restoring physical function and meeting your emotional and social needs.
Working closely with the patient and the family, our team of rehabilitative professionals will develop a comprehensive and medically sound treatment plan, designed to assist the patient to achieve the highest possible level of physical, medical and emotional well-being.
