Infant Psychiatry / Therapeutic Nursery
Infant Psychiatry and Therapeutic Nursery at Mount Sinai features dyadic treatment of parents and children, ages 0-5, for attachment and early development disorders.

Outpatient
Focusing on patients ages 5-17, Outpatient services offer rapid assessment, evaluation, and treatment for childhood disorders, with a special expertise in diagnostic assessment, and the full range of therapeutic modalities.

Inpatient
Madison Six at the Mount Sinai Medical Center provides acute and comprehensive inpatient mental health services for children and adolescents aged 5 to 18 years old. It is a secure therapeutic environment for youth who are experiencing severe difficulty in functioning at home or in school and aims to foster a deeper understanding and a more effective treatment of psychiatric and behavioral disorders.

Specialty Programming

Mount Sinai’s Child Psychiatry specialty programs include the following services:

  • Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) Center > The Center practices assessment and multimodal treatment using state-of-the-art pharmacologic, psychosocial, and behavioral interventions. We serve both children and adults.
  • Learning and Development Center > Learning and development at Mount Sinai focuses on state of-the-art assessment and treatment of attention and learning problems.
