Ambulatory
Mount Sinai’s Adult Psychiatry Ambulatory Services feature rapid access, triage, assessment, and treatment initiation. The interdisciplinary staff emphasizes a walk-in capability alongside aggressive, short-term targeted therapy for appropriate care recipients. Ambulatory services also focus on longer-term, ongoing treatment of those with severe and persistent mental illness, in addition to the extensive use of cognitive-behavioral psychotherapies, group modalities, and psychopharmacology.
