Clinical Services
Outpatient
Mount Sinai outpatient services focus on adolescents between the ages of 13 and 18. We focus on rapid assessment, evaluation, and treatment for childhood disorders, with special expertise in diagnostic assessment. We also feature the full range of therapeutic modalities.
Partial Hospital
Our Partial Hospital treatment has 22 slots for patients aged 13-18, in addition to 24-hour access and a multidisciplinary staff. The average anticipated length of stay for a patient is four to six weeks. Mount Sinai’s emphasis is on diagnostic assessment, crisis intervention, and short-term treatment utilizing a range of pharmacologic, psychotherapeutic, and sociotherapeutic interventions.
Inpatient
Inpatient service at Mount Sinai is comprised of eight beds in single rooms as a part of our state-of-the-art treatment facility. We treat patients between the ages of 13 and 18, with the average length of stay for each patient being 15 days. Our multidisciplinary staff operates under a protocol similar to the partial hospital program, but targets adolescents who require 24-hour supervision and more intensive interventions.
