Internal Medicine Associates

Overview

From routine checkups, to urgent care visits, to referrals to renowned specialists in Medicine and Surgery, the Internal Medicine Associates (IMA) provides a continuum of care to all patients and their families, from the youngest to the oldest, for the sick and the healthy.

Primary care physicians within the IMA also maintain unique areas of interest within medicine.

“Continuum of care” means that, once you select an Internal Medicine Associate, he or she will follow your health and progress from your first visit onward. We will come to know you well because we are dedicated to making sure that the medical care you receive, in addition to being state-of-the-art, is individualized – and that it’s right for you.

For example, some physicians at the IMA have a special interest in research and treatment of diabetes; others study hypertension, heart disease, or disorders of digestion.

Whatever our specific clinical interests, however, all of us are dedicated to providing you with the best health care possible. As part of that dedication, we frequently collaborate with other professionals within our practice. Whenever necessary, we will call upon advanced medical, surgical, diagnostic, and mental health specialists on staff at The Mount Sinai Hospital to ensure that your receive the best possible care.

All IMA physicians and nurse practitioners work closely together to provide the most advanced care in a compassionate environment.
