Announcement

Mount Sinai has recruited one of the nation's leading cardioelectrophysiologists. Vivek Y. Reddy, M.D., will join The Mount Sinai Medical Center as Director of Electrophysiology Laboratories. Dr. Reddy’s appointment becomes effective on August 1.

Arrhythmia and Mount Sinai Heart

Heart rhythm disorders, called arrhythmias, cause a range of problems, including a higher risk of heart attack and stroke. Mount Sinai Heart's expert arrhythmia team uses state-of-the-art technologies to image the heart in real time. Our electrophysiologists manage all of the heart's electrical abnormalities with medication, implantable devices, and breakthrough interventional procedures.

Advances in Care

Mount Sinai Heart was the first hospital in the New York tri-state area to use the Sensei™ Robotic Catheter System in catheter ablation procedures. This technology enables doctors to place catheters in areas of the heart that are hard to reach.
